Deadend Shrednecks is an American sludge/doom/thrash metal band from Surry, Virginia, formed in 2026 by Lizzie Soles and David Berlin.

The band was initially formed in memory of David's brother, John Berlin, who unexpectedly died in 2025. The band is hoping to bring some metal to the folks of Isle of Wight, Surry, and other surrounding rural areas.

They plan on writing their own music, incorporating a hybrid of both redneck thrash and doom metal.

Bands such as Municipal Waste, Iron Reagan, Eyehategod, Thou, Agoraphobic nosebleed, and The Sword, as major influences (to name a few).

Band members:

David Berlin- guitar, bass, vocals (doom/sludge)

Lizzie Soles- guitar, bass, vocals (thrash), and keyboard.

Drummer: pending
